Hello.

I was wondering if there's a way that we could bring more libraries into the Internet Archive's archiving system. I know that the Internet Archive currently works with about 135 libraries worldwide, but I think that we should try and bring more libraries' collections onto the site. Many of the world's most special collections are beginning to deteriorate, and we may lose them forever if we don't do anything about it.

Is there any way that we can bring their works into the Internet Archive? Could people write to them and try to convince them to upload their works to the archive?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Sean

The Internet Archive would love to help many more libraries in any way we can. We are also working with personal libraries. Since we now scan current books for the blind and often for lending, the resulting Open Library is getting better and better.

Is there anything I can do to bring more libraries into the fold?
